This month, join our meditation class and learn 4 Fall breathing exercises that will balance your Doshas.
These breathing exercises (Nadi Shodhan, Surya Bhedi, Brahmri, Bhastrika) help pacify Vata (the predominant energy of the Fall & Winter season). These exercises can boost metabolism, stimulate thyroid function and help to maintain healthy core temperature in the body despite the weather. Not a surprise then that yogi’s in Himalayas are comfortable in the bitter cold despite not dressing appropriately for the weather!
Followed by Surya Namaskar Yoga (Sun salutation exercise) to balance the endocrine system and boost metabolism. Finally, ending with silent meditation.
